BCM AR8MXM cost-optimized ARM motherboard powered by the NXP i.MX 8M Cortex™-A53 Cortex M4, 4-Core Processor and 8GB eMMC onboard BCM introduces its AR8MXM, a new NXP i.MX 8M RISC-based SBC featuring NXP's Cortex-A53 Cortex M4Quad Core/Dual Core, QuadLite processor architecture up to 1.5 GHz. The processor supports full 4K Ultra HD video resolution as well as HDR and is coupled with professional audio fidelity @384KHz for each audio channel. The multicore processing performance along with the ready to use SBC form factor provides rich expansion including two M.2 connectors, one SIM card socket, two MIPI-CSI, one MIPI-DSI, LVDS, and HDMI 2.0. delivering exceptional video, audio, and voice processing for many non-x86 applications such as building automation, fleet management, touch panel interfaces, and mobile computing devices.
The AR8MXM measures (160mm x 130mm) and runs on Linux (Yocto) and Android operating systems.
